About the Creator
Hello! I am Dr. Samora, also affectionately known as "The Lovesmith", and the name speaks to my passion for bringing people together in union and supporting successful relationships. As a multi-award-winning wedding officiant, relationship coach, author, speaker, and therapist, I bring over 14 years experience in supporting couples like you toward creating loving, healthy, and lasting partnerships.
Throughout my officiant career, I have presided over more than 2,800 weddings, celebrated hundreds of vow renewals, and I have welcomed many new additions to their families. From the beginning, I would always reach out to congratulate my couples on their First Anniversary and it has always surprised me when I learn that some are already facing challenges and thinking about separating. Here I'm thinking, "What could have happened? It's only been a year. Could I have done something more to support them?"As we know, divorce rates were at an all-time high during the pandemic because so many couples were forced to spend all their time together and weren't equipped with the tools to handle a crisis together. This led me to the realization that I want to support couples beyond officiating the wedding, and be there to support them to prepare for their marriage, and not just for the "Big Day." No, even though it is called The Marriage Success Blueprint program, you are not required to be married or engaged. In fact, this course is valuable to all stages of your relationship and may even be a great way to determine if you and your partner are a good match for a long-term relationship. During the course, you may see familiar patterns in your relationships with close family members, friends, co-workers, and even past partners. It's a wonderful tool for anyone interested in self-growth and awareness.

This program is designed to meet you where you are at and does not make any religious references or contain any biases. This program offers a module for Spirituality and it addresses couples who may not share the same beliefs or feel pressure from their families of origin. My aim in this program is to support your success regardless of your beliefs or backgrounds.
My fiancé thinks counseling is unnecessary if there isn't anything wrong with our relationship. Do you think it will still be good for us?
Everyone can benefit from the lessons shared in this course. And, it is purposely presented in a fun and engaging way. My guess is that your fiancé might believe in the "why fix what isn't broken" idea. I understand that and I have had other couples share the same belief and are surprised at how much closer and better understood they feel after going through the various lessons. There are always things for us to learn about ourselves and our partners, and sometimes the outcome is even better when you can do it with support.

One of my main goals in creating this program was to also support LGBTQ unions. I began officiating at the beginning of the Marriage Equality Act when it was first passed in New York in 2013. I am also a Certified Human Rights Consultant and I support every person's right to love who they love. I created a module in this program covering the issues that many LGBTQ marriages face, and I will be offering additional programs in the Lovesmith Academy featuring experts in the field of surrogacy, legal rights, and advocacy.
